Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.

How My Ministry Started

My ministry started in my Freshman year of college. I was at Southeastern Louisiana University and asked by a new friend if I would go be the “music guy” at a retreat that weekend. I agreed, and led worship for my first retreat with the Diocesan Youth Retreat Team (DYRT) for Baton Rouge. I quickly realized that I had a calling for ministry and became a member of the team. As a member of the team, I grew my skills in planning and coordinating retreats, leading worship, and giving talks and witnesses. During this time, I was also leading worship for the junior high youth group at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. I was a member of the DYRT team through my college years, and upon graduating became a mentor for the team, helping mentor team members and assisting in advising them on matters of faith. At this time, I moved to Pierre Part and became the Youth Minister and Worship Leader for St. Joseph the Worker Church, leading worship for the Sunday evening mass every week. After a year, I also took on the challenge of Master Catechist for the Confirmation program, helping prepare the 10th and 11th graders for the Sacrament of Confirmation. During this time, I also became the worship leader for St. Elizabeth and St. Jules, leading worship for three masses each weekend. After moving to Covington in 2017, I felt called through prayer to take my ministry to the next level and offer my abilities to any parish or group that God is calling me to minister too.
